People who need long-term care because of age, a physical disability or a developmental disability can apply for the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS). ALTCS uses an income limit of $2,982 a month and a $2,000 resource limit for one person. Medicare Savings Programs help with Medicare costs.
For children: None. Arizona has no separate TEFRA or Katie Beckett option. Children with high needs may qualify for ALTCS.
If you work: Freedom to Work. Working people with disabilities can buy into AHCCCS. Use the DE-103 application.
